Wild Country Guide Service is based near Norwegian Bay of Lake Vermilion. Your guide, Billy is a 4th generation, nationally recognized, multi-species fishing guide with over 30 years of experience. He is Pro Staff Member of Lindy Tackle, Lund/Mercury, Humminbird/Minnkota, St Croix Rods, LakeWood Products and several others.

Billy is a Seminar Speaker/Promoter and a member of Muskies Inc. and the National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA #208). He is also on the Board of Directors for the Lake Vermilion Sportsman's Club, which is over 2,000 members strong and is dedicated to the improvement of the lake for future generations. Billy has been featured in several outdoor publications such as In-Fisherman Magazine, Walleye Insider, Fishing the Midwest, Outdoor Wisconsin, Muskies Inc. Magazine, MN Outdoor News, and Musky Hunter. Billy has guided with well-known TV hosts, tackle makers, tournament fishermen and some of the sport's foremost fishing guides. As winner of the 2007 City AutoGlass Walleye Classic, Billy also guided the winner of the 2007 Vermilion Musky Challenge youth tournament. Wild Country Guide Service promotes & supports "Take a Kid Fishing".
